Acton Farmers' Market Demo

Chef Mark presented a cooking demonstration using harvest vegetables during the Acton-Boxborough Farmers Market. As with all of his Demos & Classes, Mark provides more than just recipes: he gives cooking advice, explanations of techniques, and great information about food items and their pairings.
Farmers Market Salad
A hearty fall salad full of texture and flavor. Great as a meal or side dish.

As a part of our mission we engage with and support local food banks and community meals. We pledge 3% of our sales towards the goal of feeding all the citizens of our community.
Our team regularly volunteers at Open Table, a community dinner and food pantry in Maynard and Concord. Kitchen to Table Foods provides the ingredients, and Mark Valentine serves as Chef for a weekly community dinner, open to all who come.
In February of 2018, Chef Mark was joined by State Senator Jamie Eldridge and Representative Kate Hogan, as well as volunteers from Open Table. The team served a delicious meal of Mixed green salad with fresh citrus, Herbed Chicken Breast, Maple Sweet Potatoes, roasted broccoli, and dessert.
